Who We Are

The Epic Center was born from the love and determination of Bill and Janet Fennelly, parents of a young man with autism and intellectual disability. When their son aged out of school at age 22, they found a massive gap in the services and opportunities available to kids like him. A significant shortage of day programs along with an ever-increasing population of kids with autism and intellectual disabilities led to years long wait lists for day programs. Outside of day programs, there were few places for these young adults to go for connection and community, leading to isolation and regression. Bill and Janet saw the need for a place where young adults with disabilities could find meaningful opportunities to learn, connect, and thrive. Together, and with the help of many, they are creating The Epic Center—a warm, welcoming community built on hope, inclusion, and the belief that every individual deserves a life filled with joy, purpose, and belonging. Opening in Marshfield MA in 2026.
